Your word I have treasured in my heart, That I may not sin against You.

Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
Fear the Lord, you his saints, for those who fear him lack nothing.
The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days,
keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies.
Psalm 34:8-13

As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up; so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life.  For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.  For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.  He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  This is the judgement, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.
John 3:14-19

The boys and I have been memorizing scripture as part of Bible class.  I am amazed how easily they have learned the above passages just by having me read it to them 3 times a day for a few weeks.  This is such good practice for me too!  Together we are hiding his word in our hearts!
